Vince Zampella, Has Died in a Los Angeles Traffic Collision
Vince Zampella, who helped create the wildly popular first-person shooter Call of Duty, has passed away in a traffic collision in the state of California at the age of 55.
Zampella's death was confirmed by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, a game studio he co-founded.
The celebrated game designer lost his life when his car crashed and burst into flames on a highway in Los Angeles on this past Sunday, as reported by.
"This is a devastating loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's family, those closest to him, and everyone impacted by his legacy," an official with Electronic Arts said.
