Wilfried Nancy stated he did not fear the sack, maintaining, “I believe we are really close to changing our fortunes,” despite sliding worryingly close to the exit with a heavy defeat by Rangers.

“The level we had at times was really, really, really high. That happened. I wouldn't say that if it was different. That is the reason, in terms of results, I mentioned it's a repeating pattern. Which is why I feel we are really close to things turning around. Right now: small things.”
“We produced plenty of positives that we did, like today again. The issue now it’s about sustaining it. My narrative would not be if it was not the case. This is why I am convinced the team can to get back on track.”
Röhl’s Cautious Outlook
Rangers manager played down talk of a title charge even after what seemed like a statement victory. “One match at a time, so we can develop something here,” he said. “The faith in the group is immense.”
